This week, lots of exciting and not so exciting gadgets and gizmos were unveiled. To start with, we talk about the Google Nexus One phone which was rumoured to be good for EDGE on AT&T. However, there is absolutely no evidence to validate the flying rumours. Kohnjisha DZ dual-screen laptop has landed on the web, with video reviews all over the World Wide Web. We must admit though that the concept really is agreeable with us.

Speaking of interesting concepts, Synaptics Fuse came up this week. It resembles something that looks like a smart phone crossed with a kids toy. Packed with squeeze, scroll, and stroke sensors this concept sure catches the eye. MSI added new models to its X-slim range with the X350 and X600 Pro. WiMAX and core2duo options are available on these babies.

JVC released two smoking hot home theatre systems that are slim enough to match well with your HDTV. The new TH-BS7 and TH-BA3 really look astounding and function perfectly. NVIDIA put up GTX 360 and GTX 380. The latter looks far more powerful than anything that ATI has ever put on offer.

Nokia N900 is all set to be launched in January, with a worthwhile tie-up with Vodafone. Samsung presents the ST5500 which has 14.2 MPs and 7 x optical zoom for superb shots and WiFi for superior connectivity. However, the specifications are tentative.

Viewsonic disappointed us with a rather uninteresting and dull netbook called Viewbook VNB102. They have nothing of interest to offer, making us feel as if there is nothing new that Viewsonic can put up for us. Corsair announced an expensive RAM kit which could burn a $1300 hole in the pocket.

Toshiba unveiled 64 GB NAND chips which is great news for iPhone users. LaCie came out with the Rikiki – a small external HDD dexice with 640 GB storage capacity. CherryPal unveiled the $99 Africa netbook, AAXA debuted with a more pleasing M1 mini-projector that does better than Pico’s.

Aston Martin (yeah, the same car that James Bond zooms around in) unveiled the Cygnet. It looks like a cross between a Mini and a DB9 though. But no, that wasn’t the best news this week – the release of 3D blu-ray specs and PS3 support for 3D really got us hooting and cheering aloud. Last but not the least, iPhone beat Windows Mobile in the US Markets.

There was a lot going around this week, but all the hardships and runabouts were worth it.
