Apple’s iPad has managed to catch everyone’s attention; this time it has been added to the list of the coolest gadgets of 2010. The pool was conducted by Stuff magazine where people were asked to vote for top 15 gadgets of 2010.
iPad and iPhone apps too were in the coolest gadget list. The magazine is known for its take on latest gadgets. It is amongst the best known sources for gadget freaks worldwide. The pool was a tough one with hundreds of gadgets competing.
The list is not about top brands it is all about gadgets that blew the minds of millions with their technology and usability factor. Every year Stuff magazine conducts this pool where people nominate and vote for the coolest 15 gadgets, it’s all about public opinion.
iPad made it to the eleventh position on the list and addressed it saying, “the most fun gadget we’ve used this year”. GenevaSound S took the first position others amongst coolest gadgets were Citroën DS3, Leica X1, HTC Legend and Sony Bravia HX-series TV.
The magazine spokesperson say the main idea behind the top 15 gadget list is to rank the most loved gadgets every year. It is also a way to appreciate cutting edge technology, millions of new gadgets are introduced in the market but very few manage to captivate the users.
The competition is tough and it is even tougher to satisfy the customer’s demands. A gadget is expected to be stylish, light weight, portable and with quick functionality. If a manufacturer lives up to the parameters and does a good job it needs to be recognized and this is what Stuff magazine does.
